The good shepherd

10 “I’m telling you the solemn truth,” said Jesus. “Anyone who doesn’t come into the sheepfold by the gate, but gets in by some other way, is a thief and a brigand. ² But the one who comes in through the gate is the sheep’s own shepherd. ³ The doorkeeper will open up for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
